U.S. Scots

Back in 1992, I founded a specialty magazine with two business partners that served the Scottish-American community. We explored Scottish heritage, developments in Scotland today, achievements of modern Scottish-Americans, genealogy, ways Scottish heritage has shaped American culture, and Scottish sports and arts.

In 1997, my wife and I took the magazine over from our partners and continued it for more than two more years before selling it to SCOTS Magazine. We grew the magazine to over a thousand subscribers and established a website which the new owners have continued ever since. In those 9 years, I had the opportunity to cut my teeth writing articles for the magazine, which I’ve now made available here on Dragonlaird Gaming.

With the PDFs, I had some trouble matching the original fonts from the publication files, so they look a little odd, but still present the articles well enough.
